Industrial action

Following on from the letter sent out to all parents and carers on Friday 4th July, it has now been confirmed that the strike will be going ahead Thursday 10th July and therefore the whole school will be closed. The school will open as normal for all classes on Friday 11th July.

Robin Hood Primary School Summer Fair 2014

The fair was a great success and we raised £3749 before expenses for the school and the children. This is the largest amount that we have ever raised! We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved for making it a fun and successful day. There were lots of activities from bouncy castles to arts and crafts and the weather was so nice this year.

Thank you to everyone who donated items, cooked delicious food, cakes and gave up their time to help at fair preparation meetings and on the day. Thank you also to all who visited the event – we hope you enjoyed it. We would also like to thank Carrie Amor, Paul Taylor and everyone else involved in the Street Dancing and Karate displays.

Order Nametags

Robin Hood School is working with My Nametags to raise funds for the school. Their iron-on nametags are machine washable and take 8-15 seconds to iron. The stickers are dishwasher and steriliser safe.

Welcome from the Headteacher

Welcome to the Robin Hood Primary School website. We hope that you find the site useful and interesting.  Over the year we aim to make it a first port of call for information about our school.

We pride ourselves in providing a happy, safe and enjoyable school experience for the children and have very committed and skilled staff who work very hard to provide a very good education for every pupil.  The school was judged as good with outstanding features in its last OFSTED inspection in 2009 and has continued to improve the provision it offers since then.  We believe in educating ‘The Whole Child’ and through a thematic approach to teaching ensure that the children have access to a broad and balanced menu of activities in school and outside of school, which enables them to enjoy a wide range of experiences.  I hope that you enjoy looking at our site and if you have any suggestions as to how it might be improved please contact the school by email or telephone.
